Spiders and other creepy-crawlies.

  • Jun. 23rd, 2006 at 2:59 PM
Last night I was walking away from my desk, I spotted a huge, fat, ugly spider running across the floor. As I freaked, shrieked, and jumped up on tip-toes to avoid it, the spider changed direction and began running straight for me. More shrieking ensued as it passed me, heading for the desk. I attempted to beg and bribe my brother into killing the spider for me (I hate the crunching sound that comes with taking them out). My brother just stood there laughing at me, letting the spider escape beneath the desk, where it would wait for me until the next day (which would today, now that I think about it, and check beneath my desk . . . nothing as of yet).

My brother says to me: "You know, I had it worse the other day. I was so freaked out because a mouse ran right by my foot."

A mouse? Are mice really that creepy. I mean they don't bite, really, and they're just mice. I mean, I know it can be kind of gross when they get into your cupboards and leave little presents all over the place, . . . but they almost have that cute and fuzzy thing going for them. Right?
